ด้านหลัง: กลางเหรียญมีสัญลักษณ์ปีสันติภาพสากลขององค์การสห ประชาชาติ ด้านซ้ายมีข้อความว่า "๒ บาท" ด้านขวามีข้อความว่า "2 BAHT" ชิดวงขอบเหรียญเบื้องบนมีข้อความว่า "ปีสันติภาพสากล พ.ศ. ๒๕๒๙" "INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF PEACE 1986" เบื้องล่างมีข้อความว่า "ประเทศไทย" "THAILAND"In the center is the symbol of the International Year of Peace, the United Nations.
